Would definitely recommend for short stay

Cozy room, friendly staff, the accommodation was superb with convenient free parking and an excellent in-room breakfast option that made mornings delightful.

The local ale selection complemented our delicious dinner, while the spacious room with lovely toiletries made for a comforting stay. The serene village atmosphere enhanced our experience.

It was almost fine, but the pub closed at an absurd hour! I was utterly devastated when I was told 'we're closed' at 9.10. What an inconvenience! where was my welcome gift? I decided to stay here expecting something extra, but nothing special came my way. Not impressed, and I almost gave a good review, but couldn’t!

I was thoroughly disappointed when I encountered the bar closing at 9:10 PM on our second night, despite being assured of its later availability. This early closure meant we could not enjoy the intended relaxing atmosphere with drinks by the fire. Even more frustrating was the lack of effort from the staff. I had to remind them about adding our drinks to the bill the following morning, which added to the inconvenience.

Every moment spent at the Shoulder Of Mutton Inn was pure bliss! The room provided exceptional comfort, the staff treated us like family, and the homemade breakfasts were simply divine. We absolutely loved the cozy charm and the splendid location.

We found this place to be a hidden gem with a charming rustic vibe. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, especially with our two small children. Enjoyed easy access to attractions nearby like the Royal Hall Theatre, all while in a cozy room.

The Deluxe Suite was super cozy, like a little haven. The bed was comfy, and everything felt modern and fresh. The bathroom was nice too, which is always a plus. I loved the extra little touches that made it feel homey. It was perfect for relaxing after a day out. Definitely better than a typical hotel room!
